The star, symbol of freedom and democracy
The gardeners at Azimut Spa celebrate the anniversary of the Republic by creating the star of our flag. An elegant interplay of begonias, ivy, and white gravel shapes the Italian flag and the star that for 80 years has embodied the institution that allows us to live in freedom and democracy.
The Italian Republic was also born from the commitment and sacrifice of women. The garden pays homage to the women of the Resistance, who voted for the first time in 1946 and who later became members of the Constituent Assembly.
