20 Years of Friendship with Cervia
The garden celebrates 80 years of Italy’s liberation from the Nazi regime. The Serbs, a people who suffered enormous casualties during World War II, also celebrate the victory of freedom.
The city of Pancevo is also celebrating another significant jubilee this year: 20 years of friendship with the city of Cervia.
The number 20, framed by the flags of Cervia and Pancevo, recalls the duration of this friendship.
Among the flowers is the official coat of arms of Italy: the white star (Italian identity), the cogwheel (work), the olive branch (peace), and the oak branch (dignity).
