Exactly 60 years ago the citizens of Sarezzo, charming town of Val Trompia, began to attend Cervia. In order to know the history of this long friendship, ratified in 2018 with the signature of a Friendship Pact, it is enough to have a walk through the garden Paul Percy Harris, along the southern wall of the historical building Magazzino del Sale.
You will discover the traditions, the culture and the history of this land in the middle between hill and mountain. You will also understand the importance of this particular machinery, the large hammer and why around it the economy of a people was born.
This large “maglio”, donated to our city, is a testimony to the iron and steel tradition of the territory of the Trompia Valley. It was built in 1943 and was used for the hot forging of agricultural implements.
Flowers could not miss, Calibrachoa Calipetite compact donated by Gruppo Padana in different shades decorate the statues and the installations of this small green corner.
The set-up was restored by the Green Service of the Municipality of Cervia.
