Dedicated to Lucio Dalla
On the 80th anniversary of his birth, a green space has been created in Milano Marittima by the Municipality of Sorrento to pay homage to the great Bolognese singer-songwriter. A creative interpretation by green art master Girolamo Tozzi of the song “Caruso”, symbol of the coastal town. The words “There where the sea sparkles and the wind blows strong, on an old terrace of the gulf of Surriento” are reconstructed in a fabulous and immersive atmosphere, amidst old railings, joyful dolphins and mermaids with hair in the wind.
It is Lucio Dalla, the multifaceted artist and multi-instrumentalist, who dictates the timing and notes combined with the colours, shapes and scents of the Mediterranean flora of the garden.
