The Lovers’ Garden
The flowerbed created by the town of Termoli features two corten sculptures with two red glass spheres representing hearts. The lovers’ flowerbed depicts a couple looking at each other and hiding in the midst of greenery, reproducing a play of heights, thanks to figures with sinuous lines and perennials of varying height, shape and bloom, surrounded by pink annuals representing passion and love and white annuals representing tranquillity.
These species were also used for their strong attraction of pollinating insects, promoting biodiversity in the city, which is increasingly necessary, while the integration of perennials is intended to move towards a sustainable, long-lasting and low-maintenance future, following the theme of this edition.
