Biodiversity in the city
For several years now, the Municipality of Verona has been promoting various actions to protect the environment and promote biodiversity, in particular the spread of habitat trees, even in the city centre, the creation of flower meadows in peripheral areas as a stimulus to increase the number of pollinating insects, and the inclusion in various city green areas of insect hotels made of poor materials. In short, the city of Romeo and Juliet is focusing on converting its heritage into an Eco-sustainable Urban Green, where less energy, fewer non-renewable natural resources, more resilient, drought-resistant and insect-attracting species are used.
And to Cervia they have brought a garden that is the synthesis of this philosophy.
